The current product is broader than an accounting add-on. Across the lineup, Knowify covers project documents, scheduling, time, purchases, billing, AIA pay applications, and QuickBooks Online integration. Job costing starts on Advanced rather than Core, and service dispatch is available through the separate Service Pro add-on.

The core loop is estimate to budget, committed and actual cost, then invoice or pay application.
Knowify generates G702/G703 pay applications with schedules of values, retainage tracking, stored materials, and change-order reconciliation. The AIA page says official branded forms are available through its AIA Contract Documents partnership.
During a demo, require Knowify output to reconcile against the job costing calculator using the same estimate and actual costs.

Knowify currently offers Core, Advanced, and custom-priced Enterprise, with yearly and monthly rates. The current pricing page lists Core at $99 per month with yearly billing or $149 month to month, and Advanced at $329 per month with yearly billing or $399 month to month.
Core includes one user and Advanced includes 10; each additional user is $29 per month. Enterprise includes unlimited users. Service Pro is a separate add-on listed at $99 per month with yearly billing or $199 month to month. Live equipment tracking, dashcams, and tool tracking are separate.

Who It's For
Knowify fits trade and specialty contractors that estimate structured work, manage crews and purchases, and bill fixed-price, time-and-materials, or AIA contracts. It is especially relevant when QuickBooks Online remains the ledger and the project team needs current cost and billing information.
Widen the comparison when the main problem is CRM, marketing, broad document control, or service dispatch. Knowify offers dispatch through Service Pro, but it should be tested as a complete service workflow.
Where It Falls Down
The main risk is buying the base plan and discovering that the required workflow lives in Advanced, Enterprise, or an add-on. Change orders are included across Core, Advanced, and Enterprise. Purchases, bills, and expenses are also included across all three plans. Job costing starts on Advanced. Project budgets start on Advanced. QuickBooks Desktop is Enterprise-only. Service work is not in the base price. Service Pro lists real-time dispatching, appointment reminders, equipment history, payment processing, and inventory. Test intake, assignment, travel, completion, rescheduling, and accounting.
A real-time accounting sync still depends on clean default accounts, products, vendors, taxes, and project mapping.
Integrations
Knowify says its QuickBooks Online connection is a two-way, real-time sync for projects and customers, purchases, bills, invoices, payments, and other records. Its integration page says project syncing is built for QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced.
The page says vendor bills should be created in Knowify so they can be reconciled with purchase orders and allocated to jobs. The integration therefore needs an entry policy. Map ownership of every record, then run the QuickBooks integration verification guide against a test company.
