Construction Software for Roofing Contractors

Compare roofing CRM, service dispatch and budget construction software by estimate, production, invoicing and pricing fit.

Start with your roofing workflow

Roofing software should be selected around the work that creates your operational bottleneck. Replacement-heavy contractors need lead-to-estimate-to-production continuity. Repair and maintenance businesses need fast scheduling, dispatch, invoicing and margin visibility. Budget-conscious firms may accept separate measurement tools in exchange for a lower, published software price.

Do not assume every “roofing” product handles supplements, measurement ordering or supplier integrations in the same package. Make each vendor demonstrate your exact path. Use BuilderBuzz’s roofing calculator to create a sample roof for the test.

Roofing-first shortlist: JobNimbus and AccuLynx

JobNimbus and AccuLynx are the two roofing-first products to shortlist. JobNimbus’s current roofing page lists measurements, mobile job and photo management, invoicing, profit tracking, estimates, production, direct supplier material ordering and QuickBooks sync. JobNimbus’s roofing page is the source of record for those advertised capabilities.

AccuLynx’s current site groups its core product around Sales/CRM, Production, Finance and Business Management, then lists capabilities including customer portal, payments, crew management, app connections and custom reporting. Review the current AccuLynx platform page.

Neither list proves fit by itself. In a demo, start with one real lead, attach the measurement source you use, build the estimate, approve the job, order or stage materials, change the schedule, assign a crew, invoice and inspect the job-cost result.

ServiceTitan's current roofing page advertises retail estimating, material tracking and project management. The same page says it offers two-way Xactimate synchronization, centralized claim tracking and digital change orders for supplements. That makes it a candidate for replacement and insurance operations, not only service dispatch; compare it with JobNimbus and AccuLynx when those broader workflows match your business. See the official ServiceTitan roofing page.

Service roofing: schedule and dispatch first

For repair and maintenance roofing, test Jobber and ServiceTitan as field-service systems rather than assuming a roofing CRM is best. Jobber's roofing page emphasizes a customizable calendar, drag-and-drop rescheduling, invoicing, automatic job costing and customer communication. Verify those advertised capabilities on the current Jobber roofing page.

ServiceTitan spans service dispatch and the retail, replacement and insurance workflows described above, so do not treat it as a service-only option. Shortlist Jobber when dispatch-to-cash is the central test; include ServiceTitan when one platform must also prove replacement production or insurance claims. Use the Jobber vs ServiceTitan comparison for a deeper service-platform comparison.

Budget benchmark: Contractor Foreman

Contractor Foreman is the published-price benchmark. Its pricing page displays Basic at $49 per month and $588 annually for one user; Standard at $105 per month and $1,264 annually for up to three users; Plus at $166 per month and $1,997 annually for up to eight; Pro at $221 per month and $2,654 annually for up to 15; and Unlimited at $332 per month and $3,984 annually. The monthly labels are the vendor's displayed figures, while the annual totals are the amounts stated for renewal. See current Contractor Foreman pricing.

That buys a general construction platform, not proof of a roofing-specific workflow. Include any separate measurement, photo, supplier or claim tools in the total-cost comparison.

Use one live job as the acceptance test

Run the same live-job script in every demo:

  1. Add a lead from the channel you actually use.
  2. Attach or order a measurement.
  3. Build a good-better-best estimate.
  4. Convert it to a scheduled job and assign the field team.
  5. Change scope, materials and schedule after approval.
  6. Send field photos and a customer update.
  7. Invoice, collect and compare estimate with actual cost.
  8. Export the accounting record and management report.

Score missing steps as missing, not “available through an integration” until the vendor shows the integration, data ownership and added cost. Take the construction software demo checklist into the sales call.

Roofing software FAQ

What is the best construction software for roofers? There is no universal winner. Start with JobNimbus and AccuLynx for roofing-first sales and production; include ServiceTitan when replacement, insurance and service workflows must live together; test Jobber for service-focused dispatch; and use Contractor Foreman as the lower published-price general benchmark.

Do roofing platforms include aerial measurement? Some advertise measurement ordering or integrations, but package terms differ. Require a demo using your provider and ask who owns the report and whether it costs extra.

What should a roofing-software demo include? Run one job from lead and measurement through estimate, production, change, customer update, invoice and job-cost review.

How much does a budget option cost? Contractor Foreman displays annual totals from $588 for Basic with one user to $3,984 for Unlimited, alongside vendor-displayed monthly figures.
