Which Jobber Alternative Fits Your Constraint?
Start with the reason you are leaving, not a generic ranking. Jobber’s current plans combine tiers with team-size options, and the pricing page lists additional users at $29 per month. (Jobber) That means a fair comparison must use the plan and team size that contain your required workflow.
| Constraint | First alternative to test | Why it is different |
|---|---|---|
| Want package depth priced by technicians | ServiceTitan | Per-technician, request-pricing model |
| Crew size is high relative to monthly jobs | ServiceM8 | Paid plans use job allowances with unlimited users |
| Want one plan price for unlimited users | Service Fusion | Unlimited users on every plan |
| Want another tiered home-service platform | Housecall Pro | Included-user tiers and home-service workflows |
| Want published bundles for 5, 10 or 20 users | Kickserv | Seat bundles rather than one-user starting tiers |
Read our Jobber review first if configuration or plan selection—not the product—is the real issue.
For Per-Technician Package Depth: ServiceTitan
ServiceTitan says its packages use per-technician pricing and directs buyers to request pricing. (ServiceTitan) Its current package page lists dispatching, scheduling, call booking, invoicing, pricebook, mobile estimates, payroll management, advanced reporting, commission tracking and customizable memberships. (ServiceTitan)
That does not make it the automatic ‘upgrade.’ Ask for the full recurring price, implementation scope, required add-ons, minimums and payment costs. Then test the exact reporting, dispatch and call-booking workflows that Jobber could not satisfy. If those workflows do not justify the migration, a more complex package is not progress.
Our Jobber vs. ServiceTitan comparison covers that decision directly.
For Different Billing Units: ServiceM8 or Service Fusion
ServiceM8 prices its published plans by monthly job allowance. Its Free plan lists one user and 30 jobs per month. Starter lists unlimited users and 50 jobs for $29 per month. (ServiceM8) Higher paid tiers list increasing job allowances with unlimited users. (ServiceM8)
The device model still matters, but the old iOS-versus-Android limitation is no longer current. ServiceM8 says its Android app is almost identical in functionality to its iOS app and supports jobs, schedules, client communication, quotes, invoices, and contactless payment. (ServiceM8) Test the exact Android and iOS workflow on your crew’s devices before buying.
Service Fusion uses a different model: every plan has unlimited users. (Service Fusion) The page currently lists Starter at $208 per month billed annually with unlimited users. It lists month-to-month Starter at $245 with unlimited users. (Service Fusion) Compare job volume, user count and required add-ons together; ‘unlimited users’ does not make the rest of the package identical.
For a Tiered Home-Service Alternative: Housecall Pro
Housecall Pro is the closest model change that still looks like a tiered home-service purchase. Its current annual pricing lists Basic at $59 per month for one user. Essentials is $149 per month for five users. Max is $299 per month for eight users. Max lists additional users at $35 per month. (Housecall Pro)
Basic lists online booking. (Housecall Pro) Max adds recurring service plans and open API access. (Housecall Pro) This makes plan selection part of the product decision: do not compare Jobber Core against Housecall Pro Max and call the price difference meaningful.
See our Housecall Pro alternatives guide if this branch of the shortlist fits your shop.
For Published User Bundles: Kickserv
Kickserv publishes Start at $60 per month for five users. Run is $119 for 10 users. Scale is $199 for 20 users. (Kickserv) Its page says annual subscriptions save 20%. (Kickserv)
The plans are not interchangeable. Start lists QuickBooks Online integration. Run lists QuickBooks Desktop as a $50-per-month item and adds dispatch mapping, GPS check-ins, custom data fields and custom reports. (Kickserv)
Price the bundle that contains the workflow you need. A larger included-user count does not help if accounting, reporting or dispatch requirements push you into a different tier.
